Kuraray Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hitoshi Kawahara; hereinafter “Kuraray”) hereby announces its decision to end the production and sale of KURARITY™ acrylic block copolymer.
Since the commercialization of KURARITY™ in 2012, Kuraray has striven to expand operations related to this product by releasing variations suitable for a diverse range of applications. However, due to the ongoing harshness of the business environment, we have judged that it will be extremely difficult to secure sufficient profit to sustain these operations and maintain stable production going forward.
Accordingly, Kuraray will cease the production of KURARITY™ at the end of June 2026.
We extend our wholehearted gratitude to our business partners and other stakeholders for their longstanding patronage of our KURARITY™ business and sincerely ask for their understanding.
