Kuraray Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hitoshi Kawahara) will exhibit at the NW Materials Show 2024, a major trade show to be held in the United States from August 28, 2024, in Portland, Oregon. The purpose of this event is aimed at connecting material suppliers with apparel and sports brands. Similar to the previous exhibition, Kuraray will be exhibiting its environmentally friendly and highly functional materials for apparel and sporting goods based on the concept of a “Sustainable future with Kuraray.”

A high-strength fiber that counts low moisture absorbency and dimensional stability among its characteristics. It can be used in ripstop fabric*, which requires durability, and can be colored through spin-dyeing. |

hook-and-loop fastener Recycled type |
A hook-and-loop fastener made of 100% polyester that includes recycled raw material. No back coating agent is used, allowing for material recycling. It has acquired RCS certification. |
| Mesh films made using thermoplastic elastomers | These mesh films made using thermoplastic elastomers has excellent rubber elasticity and suitable for clothing applications that require elasticity. It also has excellent durability due to its resistance to deterioration over time. |
