Kuraray Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hitoshi Kawahara) will stage an exhibition at The Battery Show Europe 2024, which will be held in Stuttgart, Germany from June 18, 2024.
The exhibition is the largest trade show in Europe to explore the latest innovations and solutions in battery and electric vehicle (EV) technology. Over 1,000 companies will exhibit the latest technologies in battery materials and manufacturing, electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles.
Mainstream demand regarding battery materials is for metals, inorganic materials, and thermosetting resins. However, as the switch to electric vehicles is gaining momentum and with sustainability in mind, we have centered our attention on thermoplastic resins.
In this exhibition, we will introduce eight concepts that contribute to longer life, higher performance, and lightweighting for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), sodium (Na)-ion batteries (NIBs), and all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs).
