Kuraray Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hitoshi Kawahara; hereinafter “Kuraray”) hereby announces its decision to end the manufacture and sale of bone-graft substitutes.
Due to changes in the market environment, we have judged that it will be extremely difficult to secure sufficient profit to sustain the business and maintain stable production going forward.
After continuing to produce the necessary products for each of our business partners currently using Kuraray’s bone-graft substitutes, we plan to conclude production by the end of September 2024.
We extend our wholehearted gratitude to our business partners and other stakeholders for their longstanding patronage and sincerely ask for their understanding.
