KURAFLEX™ COUNTER CLOTH bearing the FSC™ certified logomark on its package will be made available on the market from autumn 2020 onward.
* Founded by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and other bodies, the Forest Stewardship Council is an international NGO established in 1993 with the aim of popularizing responsible forest management around the world. The FSC™ certification system is a framework designed to provide consumers with tangible products made of raw materials deriving from forests that are responsibly managed in a manner suitable for environmental, social and economic benefits. At the same time, the system is intended to help raw material producers enjoy sufficient profit. The FSC™ logo is granted to organizations deemed to maintain a proper management system within the clearly defined scope of operations subject to certification. The certification system thus aims to encourage consumers to choose products bearing the FSC™ logo to support the conservation of the forest environment around the globe.
・A nonwoven fabric kitchen wipe made of rayon, the product is easily laundered and quick to dry, features that make it hard for it to become a bacterial hotbed.
・Since its release in October 1972, this product has been widely used in supermarkets, restaurants and other industrial food venues at home and abroad.
Looking ahead, the Kuraray Group will pursue its mission “For people and the planet—to achieve what no one else can,” to this end contributing to the preservation of the natural environment and the enhancement of living standards through its business activities.
