Kuraray Noritake Dental Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Satoshi Yamaguchi) has decided to expand the production capacity for ceramic dental materials at its Miyoshi Plant (Miyoshi City, Aichi Prefecture) to accelerate the expansion of its dental materials business.
Kuraray Noritake Dental maintains two manufacturing bases, the Miyoshi Plant and Niigata Plant (Tainai City, Niigata Prefecture). The Miyoshi Plant produces ceramic dental materials, including zirconia products and porcelains.
The Miyoshi Plant is currently seeing the production of various products ramping up, and, to keep up with rising production going forward, Kuraray Noritake Dental has decided that facilities will be moved inside a building (total floor area: around 12,000m2) of the Miyoshi Plant and invest in capacity enhancement.

As for ceramic dental materials, the Company develops, manufactures, and markets zirconia products and porcelains as its mainstay products. The competitive advantages of these products lie in their high strength, high aesthetics, and high quality. In particular, in recent years, demand has been rising for zirconia block, which enables shorter medical treatment, and net sales have been expanding, especially in North America.
