Kuraray Co., Ltd. and Kuraray Trading Co., Ltd. have announced the decision to increase the prices of COMOGLAS PMMA (methacrylic resin) extruded sheets, PMMA cast sheets and PMMA extruded mirror sheets for shipments commencing March 3, 2014.

Due to the recent skyrocketing of key material prices, including those of crude oil and naphtha, a worsening in the supply-demand balance and intensifying competition in the market, profitability has deteriorated across all Kuraray and Kuraray Trading PMMA sheet businesses.

Under these circumstances, Kuraray and Kuraray Trading decided to implement the price revisions listed below-involving COMOGLAS PMMA extruded sheets, PMMA cast sheets and PMMA extruded mirror sheets-with the aim of maintaining stable supplies and recovering profitability.
