Kuraray Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Fumio Ito; "Kuraray") announces that it recently decided on the brand name "KURARITY" for its new acrylic thermoplastic elastomer (development name: "LA Polymer"), the full-scale business development of which the Company had made public in March 2010.

Kuraray plans to showcase KURARITY at successive exhibitions in Japan and overseas and will accelerate its global application development.

About the Trademark

The new product's name, KURARITY, is awaiting trademark registration in several countries, including Japan.
