Kuraray Trading Co., Ltd.
Kuraray Trading Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President Osamu Asaba) will make available a new mesh inner glove. These inner gloves, which fit under rubber gloves used in a wide range of operations, will be offered through business product sales routes from October 30, 2008.
Rubber gloves are used in a broad range of settings, including food processing plants, various food and fish markets, in agricultural activities, factories that handle pharmaceuticals, semiconductor plants, hospitals and nursing care facilities and in the home. Mesh inner gloves are, however, a new visionary product developed to control the buildup of sweat and stickiness that comes with using rubber gloves and to thus enhance operability.
Mesh inner gloves originated from an idea that came to a dentist—someone who uses rubber gloves on a daily basis. Polyester is woven into a mesh pattern to enable good air permeability while enhancing the gloves fray resistance even when the finger tip portions are cut off to perform delicate operations. In addition to easier donning and removing of rubber gloves, the mesh gloves are economical as they can be washed repeatedly.
