KURARAYKURAFLEX CO.,LTD. announces that prices of base fabric and products of KURAFLEX dry-laid and melt-blown non-woven fabrics will increase for shipments commencing in mid July 2007. Details are provided as follows.

Given the steep rise of crude oil and naphtha prices in recent years, increased raw material and fuel prices have significantly exceeded the scope of the Company's cost reduction efforts, and consequently, operating revenue is rapidly declining.

Under these circumstances, Kuraray Kuraflex concluded that improving profitability in order to maintain stable supply is an urgent task. To that end, Kuraray Kuraflex will implement the following price revisions.

1. Scope of revision

• (1) Entire line of base fabrics for household goods (hygienic products, wet wipes and other products)
• (2) All products for commercial use (counter cloths and other wiping cloths)
• (3) Entire line of base fabrics for industrial goods

2. Price increase

20% across the board

3. Effective date

Shipment from the mid July 2007
